parradiddle, the best drum tech there is, the man who can tune a drum
set better than you ever will or any machine ever can so don't even
try, just call him)
2. Mark Zonder
- Fates Warning and his side projects
(Thanks for the power lesson and the
inspiration, I had a lot of fun)
3. Dave Budbill
- Sanctuary, Difficult
(you are an ambidextrous mad man, thanks for
being cool)
4. Neil Peart
- Rush
(If you play drums and don't know who he is, get
a life!)
5. Mike Portnoy
- Dream Theater
(Pretty much "the man" right now, go get the dvd and you'll see why)
6. Tony V, a.k.a. VFX
(freaky dj drummer in that Twix commercial, way
to represent)
7. Mickey Dee
- Motorhead, Dokken, King Diamond
(Anything this guy touches turns to gold, he may
be a small dude but theirs nothing small about getting your head

WHEN DID YOU FIRST START
PLAYING MUSIC, AND WHY?
Ken had just bought this
bass off his friend (the action was so friggin' high on this thing) and
asked me what instrument I wanted to play.
He convinced me to play
the drums. We went out to this guys house who was selling a drum
set, a red and blue Ludwig Visalite, and he bought it for me.
It was, and still is, the
best present anyone has ever given me.
FORMER BANDS PLAYED IN:
Death Witch
Terror
Avant Guard
Amon Ra
WHAT WAS THE FIRST CONCERT
YOU ATTENDED; WHAT DID IT MEAN TO YOU?
Twisted Sister (Come Out
and Play) with Dokken (Under Lock and Key).
It was the moment when I
said to myself “these guys are cool, they look like they’re having a lot
of fun, I want to do that”.
WHAT IS YOUR ULTIMATE
FANTASY?
To have as many Genies in
a bottle as I want, so I can wish for anything... anytime (Like a Little
Debbie truck to pull into my driveway).
